Empowering Women In The Middle East For A Better Future For All

“In the quest for freedom, when some of us aren’t free, NO one is free.”

Peace To The Middle East is a non-profit venture created by the entrepreneur Sorelle Amore, who wishes to facilitate opportunities for women in the Middle East to pursue their deepest desires freely, through education, mentorship and by providing the needed resources.

Women’s rights are precarious

Contradictory laws and policy loopholes are perpetuating lifelong discrimination against girls and women in the Middle East. Women do not have the same rights and opportunities as men & the Arab region faces the greatest gap in gender inequality and significant challenges in redressing this inequality.

The violation of women’s rights is a critical issue in the Middle East, where many women face discrimination and oppression on all levels (legal, social and economical). From limited abilities to make decisions on their own lives and bodies till restricted access to education and employment. Gender-based violence is one of the most pressing issues and goes unpunished due to the lack of support (institutional, cultural and communal) for victims. Women are discouraged to speak up and domestic violence, sexual abuse and forced marriages go on.

But Why Me?

I am Sorelle, an entrepreneur, bestselling author, ethical investor, artist but first and foremost: a free human. For most of my life I have been striving to obtain ultimate levels of freedom and I am inspiring others to do so by advocating alternative & free living.

If some of us aren’t free, we are all in truth not free and that is why I made it my mission to bring (a little more) peace to the Middle East. I am trying by donating 10% of my YT video profits + highlighting some outstanding initiatives on this page.

The Lotus Flower

I will be visiting LotusFlower’s initiatives in Iraq. They support women & girls affected by conflict and displacement. Striving for a world where vulnerable girls and women are safe, have access to education, are empowered to participate in their communities, and are able to drive social and economic change.

A few of The Lotus Flower’s many initiatives :

The Baking Sisters where women get trained to become bakers & run their own in-camp bakery.

Adult Literacy where women learn how to read and write (for the first time in their life).

So How Can You Help?

I hope you feel inspired to join me on my mission & bring a little peace to the Middle East. You can donate to The Lotus Flower’s beautiful initiatives.

Are you acquainted with a female led initiative that support women & girls in the Middle East, that could use some spotlight?
